Phyteuma tetramerum

Phyteuma tetramerum is a species of plant in the order Asterales, family Campanulaceae, native in the Southern and Eastern Carpathians. It is most common in the mountains of Romania and Ukraine, in deciduous forests and grasslands up to an altitude of 1500 m. The leaves are long and narrow; the flowers are blue, purple forming a globular terminal end (from 5 to 12 flowers). It is a rare, protected plant in Romania.
